Mapping Aurelia

A first look across Aurelia — five vast continents, divided by wild oceans and shaped by radically different landscapes.

Aurelia is a world built for journeys. Its five great continents are separated by oceans, island chains and long stretches of wilderness, so every expedition begins with the question of where the party is willing to go — and what it may cost them to get there.

Five continents, one living world

Valenwild rises in the north-west beneath the Frostspire Reaches. Kaeloria stretches across the east in a sweep of forests, plains and mountains. Sundara occupies the warm heart of the world, while Lunara and Eldoria lie across the southern oceans.

The map establishes the scale of Aurelia without filling in every path. The spaces between its named places are deliberate: they leave room for lost routes, hidden settlements and discoveries that belong to the people around the table.

Geography shapes every story

Travel in Age of Instinct is never just movement between scenes. Climate, terrain, distance and access to water all matter. The landscape determines which animals thrive, which skills become essential and how a Human and Companion must work together to survive.

The Old World

Before Aurelia, there was the Old World — a familiar northern continent seen through the cartography of Age of Instinct.

Why players never pay

The single hardest thing about getting a group into a roleplaying game is getting everybody to say yes. Cost should never be the reason someone says no.
